Balancing and Commissioning
Balancing and commissioning constitute the work package that includes checking, adjustment and testing of the electrical equipment with a goal to secure its project parameters and regimes.
Beginning of balancing and commissioning is determined by the readiness degree of the building and assembly jobs; as such, all the construction works, including finishing ones, should be completed in the electrical and technical rooms; all the apertures, man-holes and cable conduits should be closed; lighting, heating and ventilation systems should be assembled, and installation of the electrical equipment and its earthing system completed.
Balancing and commissioning are considered completed after the projected equipment parameters and regimes are obtained and they ensure a stable technological process. That means 72-hour on-load operation of the power transformers, and 24-hour on-load operation for the overhead and cable power lines.
